Returning Player, Please Help Get Me a Little Up to Date - Guild Wars Forums

Hey All, I've been away from GW for about two years now and since I used to frequent this site I thought I'd come to you and naively ask, what kinds of things have I missed of changed? I'm not looking for all the details, just any of the things that'd catch me off guard or help me get kick-started. Thanks in advance for the help.

My advice is to not try to remember how things used to be. Just start a new character and play the game. There have been too many skill changes and additions to the game. You can check the updates on the wiki http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page and if you weren't here when it started we have Nicholas the Traveler with his weekly scavenger hunt and the daily Zaishen mission/bounty/combat posted in GToB.

Rits have been buffed, and mesmers, 600/smite teams nerfed, SF changed, Hammer skills enchanced, etc. Here is a link to the Developer Updates explanations on guildwars.com http://www.guildwars.com/gameplay/developer_updates/
